February is Train Month

All Aboard the MMCM Train!

  • Saturday, February 4 – Birds of Prey Presentations; 11:30 and 1:30
  • Sunday, February 5 – Grandparents are Free
  • Thursday, February 9 – 5th Annual Arts From the Heart, 6-9pm – MMCM closed all day to prepare for event
  • Saturday, February 11 - Make a Valentine for your Valentine
  • Wednesday, February 15 – Friday, March 2 - The Saginaw River Valley Railroad Model Train Display
  • Saturday, February 18 - The Saginaw River Valley Railroad Model Train Display
  • Friday - Saturday, February 24 & 25 – Saginaw Spirit Ice Blast

    Parent & Sibling Training and Social Skills Groups!

    The Great Lakes Bay Autism Center (GLBAC) has partnered with the MMCM to provide:

  • Parent training in behavior strategies, communication, and community resources
  • Sibling workshops for children ages 5-12 to understand their sibling’s disability, that other kids feel the way they do, and how to help
  • Social skills groups to children with special needs ages 3-10

    Grandparents Enter for FREE!

    Starting in October, on the first Sunday of each month, grandparents receive free admission to MMCM. The dates for this and the upcoming year are October 2, 2011, November 6, 2011, December 4, 2011, January 8, 2012, February 5, 2012, March 4, 2012, April 1, 2012, and May 6, 2012.



    The Mid-Michigan Children's Museum takes pride in ensuring a fun, safe, educational experience for children and families. In order to keep the experience affordable, MMCM is discontinuing printed newsletters and transitioning to electronic communications via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and the MMCM website.
